The Ashanti Kingdom is the largest of the 75 ethnic groups in Ghana, and it is comprised of 7 tribes.

In 2007, Yeboah Kordie was crowned Nana Yeboah Kordie, I, King of the Ntaheras, and his wife, Sheila, was crowned Nana Akua Afriyiye, Queen, at a traditional Ashanti enstoolment ceremony in Kokobreko, a few miles from Kumasi. Living and working both in Los Angeles and Kumasi, together they are pursuing economic and social goals to further enhance the growth and stability of Ghana.
